I am totally addicted to ...
seriously, they need an AA for youtube addicts, I am on it way tooo often. Well mainly first thing in the morning and last thing at night, thanks to my trusty i-pad mini, I can sneak beneath the covers with my earplugs on and watch away 'til the wee small hours, and not annoy Rowing Man in the slightest. Trouble is, it is a little hard getting up in the morning, but when I do, I make a tasty first morning cuppa, and ... you guessed it! Prop up in bed on my fluffy pillows, and watch some more
maybe I need this ....because this has become a habit!!!
I was in Dunedin last week, I had a dentist appointment, lost a filling before Christmas, but had to wait until my dentist came back from holiday - it was a great time to catch up with my Mum and Dad,
and my good friend Sarah
who took me shopping, and I bought this delightful dress...
I am not sure what's with the frown, but I just love this dress!!!
love the fabric, the style (wrap around but the hem is held with a bias to stop the wind grabbing it and doing a Marilyn Monroe), the BIG floppy bow, and the shawl collar....
looks great with my red shoes...
and this is what I have been doing over the last wee while...
oops no photo, maybe next time...

day 14, 2013
well, a very Happy New Year to you all... I wish you all the very best for a wonderful new year ahead...
It has been such a long time since I have been here, ages and ages. I didn't intend to have a blogging break, it just happened that way, and I must admit I have enjoyed some breathing space,
It has been such a long time since I have been here, ages and ages. I didn't intend to have a blogging break, it just happened that way, and I must admit I have enjoyed some breathing space,
being in Perth for my daughter's birthday, and catching up with all my children pre-Christmas
Christmas with the family at home,
New Years in Twizel, only just managed to stay up to see in the New Year mind...
and boy has the shop been busy! Some rainy days have meant that the days have been filled with shopping and stitching and such
and I even managed to get a few things done in the studio,
and a few customer quilts done in the evenings,
morning walks with Miss Ellie
and I must not forget, Chookyblue's SSCS - this is what Patricia sent to me...
thanks heaps Patricia, I simply love it and have been carrying my needlework in it since unwrapping it!
