well I started this post yesterday and was side tracked when I went out to get the post from the mailbox, you know how this goes...
well I started pulling a few weeds from the paving, and before you know it I had on my gardening gloves, trowel and secateurs in hand, and spent the whole day in the garden - looks great now ... but boy do I ache in some places...
Anyway, I started to tell you that Monday's just don't seem to happen in our household - great huh! Rowing Man has Monday's off so they are now part of our weekend - most weeks anyway. It is so wonderful, we get to spend so much time together, which is so different to how it was back in Dunedin.
This Monday - after a very long week just past, what with all the rowing for Maadi Cup -National secondary schools championships - which by the way went rather well.. hmmm I digress - another story..
...this Monday we decided to head over to Cromwell town via the Lindis Pass, which by the by is a very nice albeit winding ride (lots curves tight corners up hill down dale stuff).
have a great week all,

Hey hun, its so nice to hear of you two actually having time alone together to just be together. Fabulous, your lives are so busy. Cromwell is such a lovely wee town and I absolutely adore those cps and saucers,so sweet.Beautiful weather, great scenery, good company, good for both of you.
hugs Deb
I loved Cromwell, we enjoyed a nice picnic at the Lion's Park during my brief visit there. darn that I didn't know the shop Sequoia existed, I'll just have to go back there.
I did love the old Jail, now I know why it was so tiny... to accommodate the small stature of the miners if need be.
Sure sounds like a swell time for the two of you, having quality time together.
I still love Cromwell but it was Ranfurly where we had a picnic and saw the jail/ I am slightly dazed and confused....
Looks like a beautiful place to visit and seeing those sandwiches has made me hungry, must be nearly my lunch time!
Hi Sweet, I just love Cromwell, it's like stepping back to a time when life was so much more simple. Am green with envy, time with your man. Can't wait for mine to get back.
hugs - Miche'le
Looks beautiful. We didn't do Cromwell, but we did do the Lindis Pass, it was amazing.
I just need to go back to South Island...in fact your post has made me decide a winter holiday in the campervan is just what I need ...doing the South Island.. I am looking into just as soon as I get of this infernal machine which seems to be taking over my life.
Thanks for the memory jog... Laurie
Thankyou for sharing your beautiful day with us!
