but wait there's more...

last night at quilt group in Dunedin, Robin brought in a quilt for me to ... well .. quilt!
and this morning whilst checking out Facebook I come across this blog and the very same quilt... how random huh!
I have just finished Diane's quilt, which I soooo sooo enjoyed. Diane had some fantastic stitcheries on her quilt, just gorgeous!!! and she said she didn't mind if I quilted over the stitching.... uuuurrrgh... I was just a bit nervous about doing this but found a precedent here, and here... so 'thort I would give it a go
... held my breath... and here we have it!
looking pretty darn good really... I really, really like it!
now I am about to play with these today
don't they just photograph well from
 well...
 all angles...
but that is after I finish this and take it off the frame
some lovely lady brought in 6... yes 6 quilts on Friday to be quilted
and I need to get to this basket of goodies before Thursday so I can take the "scraps" to Thursday quilt group for out secret project...
and I am thinking that this sample has been in the shop long enough... it needs to fine a new home...
enjoy your week, I am just going to finish off another UFO before getting into that  pile of quilts...
what are your plans for the week then?

What a busy beaver you are. What are those fabrics in that last quilt that was in the shop, they are lovely?

It must be so much fun to work on such a variety of quilts. The pegs do look good as they are, but what are you making?

Looks like you are going to be very busy quilting.

Drooling over those quilts...wow...and quilting over the stitching, yes, antique quilts do that. What WILL you do with those clothespins [I assume that's what they are]?

Funny but I was looking at this quilt online at the weekend as I was using the same fabric line. I found the free pattern for it here - http://freespiritfabric.com/core-pages/gallery.php?gal_id=435

I think it would make a great quilt to give a tenage boy.
