I got a parcel today

This was waiting at my front door this morning, I heard the door knocker as I was in the shower, and thought that maybe rowing man had locked himself out, when I got downstairs this was on the doormat...
all the way from the UK, I could not hold myself back really and that is why the photos show this opened. Isn't it exciting getting real mail!

This was inside from Jellybean Angel AKA the lovely Melanie

how cool are these.....

and some lovely REAL English tea....

and bikkies too, with a wonderful tea towel... what treats huh....

and the piece de resistance...this georgeous little creature... THANK YOU so much Melanie!!!! This was her great giveaway gift, and aren't I just the lucky winner....

some brief shopping on my way home tonight saw these purchases find their way into my possession. I called into the local Spotlight store for some Ric Rac for a special project (Christmas in July swap maybe??), and found these fabrics,

and they were on special deals, I got 1 metre of each for less then $10 - how can you beat that, they will be used for something!

and then I got these into the post, I should have taken photos prior to paper bagging, and it might have been nice to do something with the paper bags, but time was very short, and I did want to get these away as soon as, so in the post they are and off across the Tasman.

What fun waiting to see what they will be when they come back. Isn't anticipation a wonderful thing.........
