quiet day today then....

This is my December Daily album....

I did one of these last year, and I really enjoyed documenting the days leading up to Christmas Day, last years journal sits on my coffee table with other Christmas decorations over the festive season, and friends & visitors thumb thru it often... I really like flicking through it too and reminding myself where we were at last year!

it doesn't have a cover yet, as I have not really decided what I will do - procrastination at it's best? No not really, I am just waiting 'til we go to town as I need a few bits'n'pieces...

OOPS - flash breaking thru a bit here..

this is day 4, despite looking like it may be day 21 - on Dec 4th we got a letter box, our street # is 21..

there is a still quite a bit of work to do on some of the pages...

and some may just be...

Ali Edwards, Janelle Wind, Molly Irwin, and many others bloggers are the inspiration for this Christmas journal, have a look at what they have created! Also have a look here,
and here.... and here... and here... and there are so many many more creative folks out there.

my pages look quite plain really, but I am happy with them!!

now scrapbooking is really not my thing, (have I not enough to do already!), but I did enjoy putting this journal together, and will very likely do it again next year too!

and I am waiting to go to town to print some photos (Stationery Warehouse prints for 19c a print - and this is my year for being frugal - thanks Fiona!)

Love the work you've put into your daily album. It's nice to reflect back on things and enjoy the moment all over again. Have a great day. Kind regards, Anita.

Hi Shiree
what a beautiful idea, I have never seen or heard of it before, but you're right, so much happens on the 'build up' that we do forget. Thanks for your inspiration, if I ever get my head out of UFO's I may give it a go.
hugs

Love your book, so creative. Scrapbooking is something I've yet to try. One of sisters and my DIL both love it and are so creative.

That's such a lovely book to make. I don't think I could ever be so organised though. I'm usually dashign around like a headless chicken in December making presents. It always happens like that no matter how early I begin.

The December journal is a fantastic idea. Great reason to print all the photo's we take too - as I find now that I've a digital camera I tend to only download as far as saving them onto the PC. You have done a wonderful job with your journal. Hugs Jxx
