Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along

well I loaded up this morning with this jelly roll, coffee and instructions from Moose on the Porch Quilts.

Clever Konda is offering this quilt along on her blog, and seeing as I had a spare jelly roll,I thought this sounded like a pretty good project.

So I followed the instructions, using my Moda Jelly Roll - Bistro

and tah dah!! Block one done....

These are all the clever people contributing to this quilt along, some I know and some I don't;

Check out their blogs and see what is in store! They seem a great group of designers, I cannot wait until block 2 is posted in another 2 weeks!!!!

Then I decided to continue piecing this quilt which I started at Thursday Quilt Group, week before last, and haven't really touched since...

so deciding on the layout, I pieced and bordered and voila!!! This was a Moda layer cake - Boutique by Chez Moi, lovely and colourful.

now I just need some backing and binding, and finit~ I will have to wait until I go to town (Dunedin) next week then...

Have a look at this giveaway - here, you can have your say about what you like to see in a quilt book. The winner will be drawn on Mar 15th, so pop over, enter and see what you might win! Someone has to be the lucky one...

Enjoy Tuesday, I am off for a walk now, get a bit of fresh autumn air, altho' it is still quite sunny and warm, so doesn't really feel like autumn yet, and I am happy about that!!

Hi Hun, the jelly roll block looks great smarty pants. And I adore the way you have put your blocks from last week together. I'd say you have a bit of a knack for this quilting thing, maybe you should open a shop olr do something like that as a hobby since you've got nothing else to do! LOL
big hugs

I love your jelly roll your sewing with. I almost have mine ready to take pictures but have to head off with my husband to the doctor.

It's going to be fun watching all your blocks come together. Love the half square triangle quilt - I love those designers, their fabric is always stunning.

Love the fresh Spring colours in Boutique.

Would you believe I have yet to buy a jelly roll. I blame it on the layer cakes- I see more of the pattern so I look and I buy. LOL
