me and my green fingers, we have been busy today, weeded the driveway, and the garden, and that was after our early morning bike ride down to the lake and then along the canal, followed by coffee at our favourite Twizel cafe,
did just a little bit of trimming, the garden here is not that big (yet..)
... planted some herbs, but needed to pop them in pots, the ground was just a bit hard and rocky, and to be honest, I couldn't really decide where to put them, as in which part of the section. So pots it is! For the time being at least...
and these pots just didn't survive the shift, oh well, unlikely they would have survived the winter frosts anyway,
Rowing man has been happy as a sandboy all day constructing the ("his") garden shed,
and I'm about to start on this.... ironing - can manage it well if there is a good movie on the tele, and there should be sommat on being Sunday night and all...
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday...

Nice to see you settling in...love the smug look on Rowing man's face...aaah...a boy & his shed!
You definitely have green fingers! Looks very summer like, while we have the winter coming ...
You can use the broken pots as chippings for drainage in the bottom of other pots, so all isn't lost.
Love your herbs- there's nothing like fresh ones when you cook.
I'm liking the Movies 24 channel at the mo as all the films are Christmassy.
Love your herbs...hope you found a good movie for all that ironing!!!
Ahh you have one of these lovely marble/stone cats too... my one has been missing for the past 7 years when we shifted from our cottage to our new home - gosh seeing your photo brought back memories - I must do another search through unopened boxes (yes we still have some after 7 yrs) and see if I can't find her... Hugs Jxx
