really random stuff...

I did say random stuff huh...

we picked this up the other Monday, I simply cannot believe that it still sits in the box, and for this long, but the I don't really have too much space in this teeny tiny house so need to clear some..

it is going to take up the "spare" room...

but we have been down at the lake

the weekend just past was the last of the regattas for rowing man, there are still school regattas, but the man is just a teensy weensy bit old for those - and writing up a thesis just don't count

Rowing man and partner just after winning the masters (old farts) doubles, he won 2 golds and 1 silver medal - well done I say!

and Rowing Boy heading down to the start line...he's kinda cheating - he coaches schoolboy squad, but one of the boys had a tight turnaround between races so Rowing Boy took the boat down to the start line for him - he promises he is going to get rid of the face fuzz before his wedding in November!

and aren't these just wonderful fabrics that I am playing with - using up that stash

I just luurve blues...

and these are really very pretty..

much like this sunset on Wednesday evening,

really pretty huh.. even the usually obtrusive power poles look good in this light,

and yummy yummy crayfish dish for dinner, poached in white wine and served with a slightly spicy tomato garlic sauce - delic! This was given to Rowing Man by a grateful patient - he can go off save many lives if we get more of these!!

... and a browse in one of "those"shops that Rowing Man hates me visiting;

but I couldn't leave it behind now could I,

come back later this afternoon, and we might go for a walk around Twizel, let me introduce you to the town...

Did you buy that baby rocker? But you have no space? It was a lovely post and a nice change from the snowbound posts coming from the US. The lobster made me salivate. Wishing you many more!

I think you quite like being a wee tease (wink), and as for that crib, well it's just bootiful - I'm with Deb, a luverly little quilt needs to be made to go on it. As for the 'old fart' good on him - it's the Coast to Coast here, you know not one of them looked happy to be doing it - so why do they?

Our school kids are still rowing it is Head of the River in March. Well done Rowing man on the gold. My father was a cray fisherman and he would give his cardiologist 2 massive crayfish every time he saw him, which was 6 monthly. I often wondered if his check ups could be 12 monthly LOL.
