Nelson Mini Symposium 2012
well what a fabulous week!!!
Rowing Man and I toddled off last week on a road trip to Nelson, a 6-7 hour road trip... we left home about 10am Wed morning last week, and arrived in Nelson about 7pm... a few pit stops on the way.... we left a sunny Twizel but by the time we got a bit further up the island the weather changed and it rained the whole way...

we're a very happy bunch
and love getting out to see you all
so that's it for another year....next mini-symposium in Ashburton in 2014, but National Symposium is in Taupo next year... will I see you there?

What can be better than going to see quilts and browse the booths, my kind of day. Is that car in the first pic covered in a quilty cover or painted to look like one? I can't really be sure but it appears it might be.

Thats nice of you to share photos of all of your friends (note sarcasm regarding one photo!) I bet you took that one just for me and hopefully to give her the guilts. Okay stop, I am a nice person sorry! Looks like you and Tim would have had a ball, love the wee fiat.
Sorry for the drool I left on your shop window! I just missed you before the symposium, but your store looks packed with fabric goodness. We loved NZ so will be back again one day - see you then. The symposium looks like a wonderful gathering.
